About Botox® :
Botox® Cosmetic is a purified protein that is injected at very low doses into the face to relax deep, persistent lines produced with facial expressions. Botox® works by reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause wrinkling. The effects of treatment can last three months or longer in some cases. Results have been reported to last longer with repeated treatment.
We inject Botox ® to treat moderate to severe glabellar, or frown lines, crow’s feet, which are lines around the eyes, lines around the mouth and forehead.
Botox may be injected into the corner of the jaw to create a thinner, more oval face. You may need to avoid chewing hard foods for several days after the procedure. The effects occur gradually over about a month. Contouring lasts 6 months to a year. Cost is $550.
